Software for ECUs in the vehicle must be protected from unauthorized access and manipulations. Authentication mechanisms or signature validations provide an effective protection.
EB provides you with embedded-conform cryptography solutions that take account of the special requirements in the automobile and the vehicle infrastructure. These include not only the implementation and integration of your cryptographic application in the ECU environment, but also a dedicated EB Crypto Library that can be easily adapted for the tresos framework. The library is implemented using the HIS standard and contains not only all typical cryptographic routines but also the "Cryptographic Abstraction layer (CAL)" recently accepted as HIS standard. With all common methods, it forms the basis for your cryptographic applications.
