The new version of EB Propsim FE is now available for operators, handset manufacturers and wireless network element providers working with LTE. The new EB Propsim FE enables testing of 2x2 MIMO configurations – a requirement for 3GPP LTE testing.
EB's technology ensures the optimal performance of the most crucial area of wireless systems and devices - the air interface. EB's Propsim product family consists of radio channel emulators for air interface testing, replacing the real-world radio channel. EB's Propsim emulators provide realistic and repeatable test conditions for air interface testing in laboratory conditions. EB Propsim C2 and EB Propsim C8 radio channel emulators are already widely used for LTE product development testing.
The new version of the EB Propsim FE underlines EB's role as a technology leader in its field. The 2x2 MIMO capability, with up to 20 fading paths per channel, makes EB Propsim FE a single-box solution ready for 3GPP LTE air interface testing. The new product version also adds enhanced capabilities for interference generation. The new 8-PSK and Orthogonal Channel Noise Simulator (OCNS) interferences expand the variety of internal interference sources available even further. The interferences can be used for co- and adjacent-channel interference test cases of GSM/EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA.
The EB Propsim FE reveals the new visual look of the EB Propsim product family. The new look combines functional and minimalist design with state-of-the art functionality.
