From November 2007, DECOMSYS GmbH, based in Vienna, is fully integrated into EB and will form an integral part of the company’s Automotive Software Business Unit. The unit’s Austrian operation will be responsible for the development of sustainable products based on the FlexRay technology. EB acquired DECOMSYS in June 2007.
'In the future, we can offer our innovative FlexRay solutions globally under the strong EB brand. Thus, two suppliers already among the leading AUTOSAR and FlexRay players have now joined forces. This opens up fully new potentials for our customers', says Dr. Dietmar Millinger, Director at EB's Automotive Software Business Unit in Austria.
EB's Automotive Software Business Unit intends to grow further in Austria: 'We are looking for experienced software engineers who take pleasure in the new challenges of the automotive environment. The integration of FlexRay in AUTOSAR is an exciting prospect', advertises Millinger.
EB's goal is to systematically further develop the AUTOSAR and FlexRay technologies.
Already existing contracts are not affected by the company name change.
DECOMSYS GmbH will assume the name Elektrobit Austria GmbH.
