With version 3.0, not only has the name tresos® GUIDE changed to EB GUIDE Studio. The new version is also convincing in terms of its many innovations. With the third generation of this HMI development tool, EB for the first time offers the perfectly matched combination with speech recognition technology. Interested customers also profit from the integration with the EB Navigation street director. 'Our customers can thus develop prototypes on the basis of true navigation with real cards. Thanks to the integration of +SPEECH, multimodal user interfaces can now be designed with voice control', emphasizes EB GUIDE Product Manager Thomas Fleischmann with reference to the highlights of the new version.
EB GUIDE Studio itself also comes with a new user interface that enables simpler and individual operation. A role-based user management now offers the possibility to organize team members into groups and assign them specific roles. Features can also be allocated according to user role in order to force a target-oriented HMI development.
New is also the take-over of old project parts from existing HMI models: Different project versions can be compared and parts quickly taken over and combined. Thanks to an integrated formula editor, EB GUIDE Studio can now carry out a large number of computer calculations as well. For the simulation of large-scale EB GUIDE projects, the analytical tool simplifies working: The simulation can be followed and evaluated step-by-step, permitting full control over large-scale HMI developments.
EB STUDIO Guide will be available from the middle of July 2007.
