ODX Flash Container Generation - Made Easy EB tresos Flashbuilder 2.1.0
Today's electronic control units (ECUs) require uniform software logistics to ensure that updates are readily available and can be installed effortlessly. The necessary logistics information as well as the actual software update are bundled together into a flash container. This allows uniform logistics throughout the entire OEM value-adding chain (development, production and service).
EB tresos Flashbuilder assists the user in easily creating flash containers according to the ASAM ODX standard. EB tresos Flashbuilder automates all the necessary creation steps from object code to the finished container by means of a graphical wizard. In addition to the user-controlled configuration, EB tresos Flashbuilder can also be integrated into automated build processes and can automatically generate containers from previously created configurations.
EB tresos Flashbuilder is prepared for future ODX container requirements at Volkswagen and already provides support for flash data security and compression (LZSS).
