Course Description

In a mix of lectures and hands-on sections, the two-day Windows CE Deep Dive Training provides a profound overview of the architecture of Microsoft Windows Embedded CE and its basic concepts. You get acquainted with the available development tools and learn how to generate an operating system with Platform Builder. Application development and specific aspects of working with Windows Embedded CE are also covered in detail.

• Design, generation, testing and debugging of images

Developing Drivers and Systems

• Basics of driver development
• Driver models, handling of interrupts, accessing physical memory
• Using Windows Embedded CE – selected aspects
• Start-up behavior, power management, memory management, use of flash memory
