The Challenge
- Solution must be compliant with international standards and regulations for RFID
- Only the charge carriers being unloaded should be captured (avoidance of unwanted reads)
- Detection rate must be at least 99.9 % and within a response time of less than one tenth of a second for each transponder read
- Bulk-reading at a distance of several meters
The Solution
- Best suited transponder (Confidex Ironside GEN2 UHF) and transponder positions were evaluated during a proof of concept phase to assure a high reading rate and bulk reading
- Installation of an RFID – reading –cascade to guarantee the highest possible reading rate and to eliminate unwanted reads
