New features for EB GUIDE: HMI toolchain simplifies complex user interfaces design

The latest version of EB GUIDE, the end-to-end HMI development platform to create compelling, state-of-the-art user interfaces for cars is released!

In modern cars, the HMIs are getting more and more complex, what challenges car manufacturers and their Tier 1s to design, create, and maintain an ideal user interface.

The new EB GUIDE allows you to increase team efficiency and reduces development time and costs with new and improved features like modularization, namespaces, and multi-font support.

New features for EB GUIDE deep dive: change your way of designing UIs

1. Modularization – a unique feature for increased productivity

1. Modularization – a unique feature for increased productivity

EB GUIDE is the only HMI toolchain on the market to provide built-in user interface modularization. With this feature, you can split the user interface into multiple parts that can be modeled individually.

By this, we enable multiple developers to work at the same time on different parts of the overall user interface, help improve the team collaboration and productivity, and reduce development time and costs.

Explore the new modularization feature!
2. Structure your model using namespaces

2. Structure your model using namespaces

The innovative namespace feature supports UX developers to organize their HMI objects in different categories and helps them to build and structure their HMI models in a more rigorous way.

Help your teams to focus on their core parts. Think holistically and design a consistent, multimodal UI to build rich UIs for high-performance devices!

3. Multi-font support for user-defined font objects

3. Multi-font support for user-defined font objects

With the new multi-font feature, users can create new, virtual font objects by combining multiple fonts into one new object. A string can then be displayed using different fonts for different characters. Or you can combine a Latin font with an Asian font without the need to create a new font file. So, new EB GUIDE helps your UX designers achieve their daily goals in a more efficient and intuitive way.

Award-winner: most innovative HMI

Award-winner: most innovative HMI

EB is proud to receive an award for the “Most Innovative HMI Feature”. During CarHMi, a global event and conference for automotive HMI and UX development, EB was awarded for its exceptional proactive voice assistant which alerts drivers of incidents and therefore increases safety within highly automated cars.

Case study: Cluster HMI - from prototype to production-ready

At Car HMi, EB inspired auditors with a case study of an actual cluster HMI project that evolves from prototype to ready for production, and that relies on EB GUIDE, a high-performance end-to-end HMI development toolchain.
