EB´s vision of automated driving – CES recap

This year at the CES, we showed our vision of automated driving at our booth by demonstrating a ride-hailing model taxi car to drive around a modeled cityscape. Our driver assistance software along with EB robinos, our software framework, enabled the model taxi cars to navigate along the way. They also utilized gesture recognition and augmented reality as they were driving to their selected destination.

Future vehicles will be equipped with wireless cellular network technologies. As these technologies will be connecting the vehicle to the internet permanently, the vehicle will become a so-called connected vehicle. In his presentation, EB´s Automotive Consulting expert Markus Glaab will discuss the connected vehicle from two perspectives: The development of a standardized reference architecture for vehicle-to-backend (V2B) platforms and the oneM2M service architecture as enabling technology for a V2B platform. Join his speech at the 18th Stuttgart International Symposium, one of the most important discussion forums in the field of vehicle and engine development.
