EB launches augmented reality software – EB arware

Announced at the CES 2018, EB’s augmented reality software can be used to create an augmented view of a car’s real-world environment on the head-up display (HUD). It fuses sensor data to generate a model of the environment that is continually updated while predicting the movements of other road users and one’s own.

EB to be among the first Amazon Alexa automotive software integrators

With the explosive rise of voice services, the car is now becoming the third space for consumers to leverage this technology outside of their homes and workplaces. EB will create solutions aimed at helping car manufacturers integrate Alexa into the car. This integration will leverage EB’s automotive software expertise and Amazon Alexa’s voice service to have car manufacturers extend their vehicles’ onboard capabilities. Thus, Alexa will provide a more holistic and natural human machine interface (HMI) experience inside the car.

リリース情報: EB robinos 1.3.0

Release: EB robinos 1.3.0

EB robinos, our hardware-agnostic software framework for automated driving, now includes convoy tracks and free space. Convoy tracks is part of EB robinos Road Fusion: it derives lanes from the tracks of preceding vehicles to overcome gaps or erroneous detections of lane markings. Free space describes the vehicles surroundings in an innovative polygon description that is easy to interpret and small enough to be distributed throughout a network. Both complete the EB robinos perception modules to provide a 360° view of the vehicle’s environment.

EB's holistic HMI platform

EB's holistic HMI platform

Earlier this year at the CES 2018, EB showcased its holistic HMI platform at the EB kiosk in the AGL booth. The holistic HMI platform is a cockpit controller solution that brings together driving-related information and infotainment. Thanks to its modular design and service-oriented architecture, it can easily scale from a single display to complex, multiple display devices while running on one system on chip (SoC), on top of a hypervisor or distributed to different machines. It showcases the following EB products in action: EB GUIDE, EB corbos Hypervisor and EB street director.

If you did not get a chance to see it at the CES 2018 and would like to view our demo, write to sales@elektrobit.com.
