At the forefront of virtual development –
EB and Synopsys support leading automotive companies

EB and Synopsys are collaborating to accelerate automotive electronic systems development using virtual environments. The companies are bringing together Synopsys Virtualizer Development Kits (VDKs), EB operating systems (featuring EB corbos and EB tresos product lines), development and test tools, and complementary expertise to enable pre-silicon and pre-electronic control unit hardware availability and software development. The combined solution accelerates system testing cycles and enables Tier 1s and OEMs to transition from physical to virtual system testing, shortening the development cycle, and accelerating time to market.

Hello vehicle, are you safe and secure?

Hello vehicle, are you safe and secure?

Various wireless connections make the connected vehicle vulnerable to attacks from all over the world. In fact, attack scenarios change as connectivity grows.

As a result, over-the-air (OTA) software updates, i.e. through a cellular or WLAN connection, are special requirements for the security architecture inside and outside the vehicle in order to keep a vehicle safe and secure throughout its life cycle. EB and Argus Cyber Security offer holistic end-to-end security solutions for connected vehicles that are safe, secure, and always up to date.

Mapping the road to automated driving with NDS and ADASIS

At the first public NDS conference presented by the Navigation Data Standard Association (NDS) on June 13 in Munich, EB’s Roman Dolgov gave insights on how to leverage the NDS and ADASIS standards for map data in automotive ecosystems.

He further showcased a demo of EB robinos Predictor Eval Kit, our out-of-the-box ADASIS Provider, generating an electronic horizon for R&D activities – suitable both for test vehicles and laboratory, now supporting the latest ADASIS v3 standard. The device facilitates the evaluation of the capacity and performance of our electronic horizon products.
