Voice control offers a great option to safely interact with your in-car systems. This technology has advanced tremendously over the years and with Natural Language Understanding (NLU) systems, we can now interact as if we were talking to a friend.   The latest example of this technology is the Virtual Cockpit in the new Audi TT whose NLU system has been developed and integrated with the help of speech dialogue and HMI (Human Machine Interface) solutions by Nuance and Elektrobit (EB) Automotive. Elektrobit (EB) Automotive Presenter at AUTOSAR & IEEE Conferences, Detroit, MI

Elektrobit (EB) Automotive presented at the IEEE conference and the 7th Annual Open AUTOSAR Conference, Oct. 23-24 in Detroit, MI.   EB partnered with General Motors and Ixia on the topics of AUTOSAR IP/Ethernet based on Audio Video Bridging (AVB) and Automotive IP/Ethernet Testing with another presentation focused on Multi-Core Environments for AUTOSAR based Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). 8th Annual OpenStreetMap Conference, State of the Map 2014, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Nov. 7-9

Elektrobit (EB) Automotive’s Nicole Beringer presented at the OpenStreetMap conference on Nov. 7th. Nicole’s presentation provided an assessment of the in-vehicle navigation systems and potential of using OSM in automotive. Since 1998, the event has been bringing together political, industry, scientific, and media representatives to discuss the challenges and solutions for sustainable mobility.   The intention is to show that progress really is being made in mobility and the future is bright for road transportation that benefits society.
