Artificial intelligence for self-driving cars

Artificial intelligence for self-driving cars

Developing the highly automated driving functionalities that lead to self-driving cars is a non-trivial and complex task. One major challenge is the unstructured real-world driving environment. In order to cope with that, well-trained artificial intelligence (AI) systems are required. Read how EB implements these systems, in our article “KI for self-driving cars” (in German only). Read the related English tech paper “From logistic regression to self-driving cars: Chances and challenges of using machine learning for highly automated driving”.

Manage Agile 2017: EB speaks about 10 years of agile processes at an automotive supplier. Now what?

Agile methods help overcome new challenges in the automotive industry, such as innovation cycles that recur more and more quickly, but increase complexity in software. For that reason, EB initiated agile and lean principles in 2007. Martin Hillbrand and Melanie Fricke will speak about how work has changed during the last 10 years due to these principles. For example, they will present various initiatives launched by EB employees and their management. Our journey has not ended, it has just begun.

The speech will be in German.
