EB Achieves Preferred Supplier Status for AUTOSAR Software at Toyota

EB Achieves Preferred Supplier Status for AUTOSAR Software at Toyota

Toyota introduces the AUTOSAR standard in its next-generation electronic control units (ECUs) and now lists Elektrobit (EB) as one of its preferred vendors for basic software (BSW). This means that Toyota strongly recommends that suppliers of ECUs use EB’s AUTOSAR 4.2.1 compliant software, EB tresos AutoCore, for next-generation Toyota vehicles. Read more.

EB Implements AUTOSAR Acceptance Tests for EB tresos AutoCore

EB Implements AUTOSAR Acceptance Tests for EB tresos AutoCore

Acceptance tests for classic AUTOSAR are standardized by the AUTOSAR consortium. The goal of these integration tests is to ensure the compatibility of AUTOSAR software with the given ECU application and the vehicle network.

EB currently extends its test strategy for the basic software EB tresos AutoCore Generic (ACG) with those test cases provided by AUTOSAR. This enables our customers to minimize their test efforts and costs through common test development, methodology, and extensibility. Furthermore, it allows the exchange of trustworthy test execution results.

Automotive Software Architectures: Safety and Security Combined

"Automotive Software Architectures: Safety and Security Combined"

Functional safety and cybersecurity are critical on today’s roads, especially given the increasing level of interconnectivity manufacturers build in to new vehicles. This TechPaper from EB’s Rudolf Grave and Alexander Much shows how both of these critical goals can be realized simultaneously using innovative architectures for ECUs.

Open Robinos Hits the Mark

Open Robinos Hits the Mark

At the end of June, EB released the free open robinos specification for automated driving systems. At the same time, we released EB robinos for the EB Assist ADTF development environment—the first implementation of open robinos.

The automotive industry’s interest in a common architecture to easily combine individual autonomous-driving efforts continues to grow. The scores of robinos downloads by leading carmakers, suppliers, tech companies, and universities worldwide, as well as the fruitful discussions open robinos has sparked, underscore that interest. Are you also interested? Don’t hesitate to download the free open robinos specification or download EB robinos for EB Assist ADTF.
