EB webinar: In the race to autonomous driving; are we forgetting the user?

In this free 60-minute webinar, EB’s Dr. Dominique Massonié will provide insights into emerging challenges that impact automotive user interface design.

Impacted by rapidly evolving consumer electronics technology, hardware architecture, and new automotive business models, the car is now a connected object set to become an extension of the home.

Dominique will present a roadmap for the future, including:

  • How in-car interfaces can be designed to deliver user-specific experiences by leveraging machine learning
  • The roles that will be played by usage-, user- and context-specific information
  • The complexity impact on the development of intuitive user interfaces.

Finally, Dominique will address the question: “Are we, indeed, forgetting the user?”

EB & QNX webinar: Addressing safety challenges in full-digital instrument clusters

Recent advancements in silicon and display technologies have drastically changed the look and feel of instrument clusters in cars, as well as the way they are built.

During this webinar, EB and QNX will present the design complexities of digital instrument clusters related to embedded graphics. Furthermore, the webinar will deal with the development of digital instrument clusters which is as challenging as solving functional safety requirements imposed on critical information, such as telltales and gear positions.

Estimated duration: 60 minutes including questions and answers

EB presentation at NVIDIA GTC Europe 2017

Developers and decision makers will gather for the GTC Europe conference which features sessions about AI and deep learning, self-driving cars, and more. Join Sebastian Ohl, Product Manager at EB, as he will present how using a highly automated driving (HAD) software framework can provide the basic software modules to streamline the development process of HAD systems. To enable mass production of these systems, a change from rapid prototyping to an embedded platform is required. As an example, Sebastian will show how EB has ported our HAD software framework EB robinos to NVIDIA DRIVE PX. Join Sebastian´s presentation on October 12 at 10:30 CET in room 1.
