VW and Bosch at ACC

The ACC (Automotive Computing Conference) allows you to go deep into what it takes to successfully implement new software and digitalization requirements in the automotive industry.
Patrick Lobert, Product Manager at Bosch, presents a solution to manage the growing module combination of decoupled software and hardware through a scalable and hardware-agnostic operating system, and how their business units had to adapt the new model.
Volkswagen's expert, Dr. Marcel Wille, addresses in his keynote speech the issue of consistent increases in performance and functionality via updates after sales and presents a centralized functional architecture solution that offers the Adaptive AUTOSAR software platform and service-oriented communication.

Tackling challenges together – EB partnerships

Faster time to market for Mando with EB's Classic AUTOSAR software

Faster time to market for Mando with EB's Classic AUTOSAR software

Mando, global automotive Tier 1 supplier, teamed up with EB to find a solution for an ECU software that is AUTOSAR-based, safe, reliable, and series-production-ready, to meet the ongoing increased requirements and shortened development cycles in their production.
EB’s Classic AUTOSAR software, EB tresos AutoCore 6 and 7, allowed Mando to operate their development and series production projects on one global project license. This means that Mando's development cycles and delivery time shortened and that they can now supply multiple car makers at the same time optimizing their overall processes and reducing their administrative costs.

Managing mixed-criticality multi-core applications

Traditionally, a hardware mechanism like the memory protection unit (MPU) in a microcontroller is necessary to separate software with different levels of safety criticality. With the increasing usage of multi-core microcontrollers and the consolidation of functionalities, it is even more likely to have systems with mixed criticality.
In the 60-minute webinar Roman Iseler from EB and Joachim Hampp from Altium will explain how to simplify the separation of mixed criticality software to improve the implementation, integration, and run-time behavior of your system.

Useful complement: efficient separation of functions within a multi-core system
To get the perfect overview, we recommend the recording of Roman's webinar on the efficient separation of functions within a multi-core system and the importance of EB’s hypervisor concept in handling complex software systems.

Who is leading this industry forward? Join Autotech Council Science Fair 2019

The Autotech Council Science Fair is not your standard fair! Imagine the concept of a school science fair but with leading automotive companies. In a relaxed atmosphere, you have the chance to really engage directly with experts and engineers and discuss their innovations for future mobility on a technical level, in depth, and without flash.
EB really believes that this concept is great to brainstorm on potential synergies and use cases. This is why we will not only visit, but also participate with an exhibit on EB's Test Lab, a cloud-based validation toolchain that is a one-stop tool to efficiently gather, enhance, manage, test, and validate automated driving functions up to SAE Level 5.
