Read an excellent article about our new software tool EB GUIDE 6. Here is a short abstract of the article pusblished by the online magazine Automotive Engineer:

Elektrobit has developed a software toolkit that helps OEMs and Tier One suppliers to design and produce customised human-machine interface (HMI) systems more quickly and cost-effectively. The EB GUIDE 6 is capable of incorporating advanced graphics, as well as voice-, touch screen- and gesture- based controls. An improvement on their original software toolkit, this updated version integrates new features and is now much more user-friendly for both engineers and designers. The system enables existing models, animations, widgets and other features to be reused on other projects, thereby removing the requirement to repeat processes and reducing the production process time.

Elektrobit head of HMI, Christian Reinhard, said: “Automakers today are under pressure to innovate and iterate – which means moving forward while re-using the best of existing solutions. EB GUIDE 6 makes it possible for them to keep pace by allowing the rapid creation of custom, branded user interfaces that can be extended across product lines, and readily modified or updated, as needed.
