NUREMBERG/ERLANGEN, Germany, Dec. 9, 2025 – Elektrobit, an international software company and key partner on the journey to the Software-defined Vehicle (SDV), is commencing a two-phase relocation of its headquarters from Erlangen to Nuremberg, Germany.
The new location in Marienbergstraße, Nuremberg offers a modern working environment with flexible office space, contemporary-style meeting rooms and work areas specifically designed for creative collaboration. The new headquarters is adjacent to the airport, offering excellent connections to road and rail, ensuring easy access for Elektrobit customers and partners across Europe and overseas.
For Elektrobit, which has had its headquarters in Erlangen-Tennenlohe, Germany for more than 35 years, the move marks an important milestone in its own transformation as part of a dynamic, interlinked and future-oriented mobility ecosystem.
The new headquarters symbolizes a modern working culture characterized by flexible working models and spaces that foster creativity, and innovative office concepts. That is Elektrobit´ s definition of “New Work”: open, cross-location working environments that promote agility and unlock the power of innovation for the future of mobility.
“Relocating our headquarters to Nuremberg opens up a wide range of opportunities to continue the process of developing our teams, our corporate culture, and our innovative strength. We are excited about what lies ahead! This is more than a logistical move – it is a step into the future” said Maria Anhalt, CEO at Elektrobit.
“Our new headquarters represents not just a redesign of our spatial environment, but also of our working culture without losing sight of our core values such as trust, team spirit, and a passion for success. The new premises provide the kind of open-plan working spaces and office infrastructure that enable our employees to actively experience and benefit from the concept of New Work,” explained Christine Kirbach, Chief Human Resources Officer at Elektrobit.
The relocation will take place in two coordinated phases to ensure a smooth transition for all business operations and allow collaboration with customers and partners throughout the transition to the new location. The first phase, commencing immediately, will see selected divisions and functions relocated to the new site. The staggered approach will enable Elektrobit to react to change flexibly and to make the transition as pleasant and efficient as possible for all employees and business partners. The complete relocation of the headquarters to Nuremberg, Germany will be completed by the end of 2026.
