Performance meets safety AUTOSAR based software architecture

Until recently, implementing new features inside the vehicle meant adding additional ECUs, resulting in increased complexity and a subsequent shift to a zonal architecture. With zonal architectures, existing and new features are aggregated on a high-performance-computer (HPC) instead of running on separate ECUs.

Summary

Implementing HPCs is complicated due to the sheer complexity of those systems and because the systems need to host features that are unknown at the time of design. In this free webinar, Elektrobit’s Jan Rüdiger explains how to overcome these challenges using a scalable software platform design approach and methodology for performance-based AUTOSAR.

Key topics and takeaways:

  • Discover how to fulfil market requirements with existing and future E/E architectures
  • Learn how to overcome challenges in the development of non-functional requirements such as safety
  • Find out how to design a flexible and scalable software platform that supports building HPCs today and in the future
